The importance of design cannot be underestimated. It makes for much easier communication and understanding between the client, designer and contractor.

A design consists of a survey of the proposed garden, planting plans and construction drawings. We can project manage local contractors or carry out the works with our own teams. Our design process begins by evaluating:

• The existing plants, soil, aspect, house and landscape
• Our client’s taste and needs
• Budget
• Level of future maintenance
• We then prepare draft designs illustrating a range of possible ideas, and once the client has made a choice, we produce a final version and start work
